OCT Weld Penetration Online Detection
PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
Laser welding depth of fusion detection relies on optical coherence tomography (OCT) technology. When the optical range difference between the signal returned from outside the weld and the reference signal is within the light source’s coherence length, an interference phenomenon occurs. This allows the extraction of the weld depth of fusion information for imaging. OCT provides real-time, high-resolution, non-invasive measurement of the material’s internal structure, leading to more accurate, efficient, and higher-yield welding processes with better control.
